Love the quality of this awning, I would give it 5 stars but it is a bit awkward to set up by yourself, another set of hands makes this much more simple. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size (mine is the mini iKamper version), lots of good coverage. The light weight is nice as well vs. the mounted swing out awnings.

This awning is amazing in size and coverage. Setting it up takes a few minutes, an extra set of hands to hold the poles while you tie the flies, and a little practice getting it straight and lining it up to the opening of the tent so that the fabric isn’t twisted and a nice taut surface is created for water to run off. Love the height and how it perfectly attaches to our tent. Love it once it’s up. Kinda dread the set up and tear down.

The Skycamp Mini Awning was very easy to install and the material the awning is made from is very high quality. I was impressed with the double layer of material that made the awning water proof, light weight, yet very strong and well built. The extension poles are of high quality too, expand easily and are very sturdy. I love using the awning for a shaded sitting area. I am sure it will perform very well in the rain.

Great awning that increases the useable space for heavy sun or in rain. Easier to set up once I understood the gye ropes, simple. I zipped the awning first then poles and stakes. When you unpack it the first time be sure to pay attention to how it was originally folded and it will make life easier when you have to pack it up later. More affordable than the annex and I think more practical for space and set up time.

The awning transforms the Skycamp from a tent to a liveable space, providing enough room to cook and dine under. The setup is easy (it took us less than 5 minutes the first time) and the placement of the grommets (pole holes) allows for a variety of layouts. And when you’re done it all packs away into its own carry bag ready to stow in the Skycamp for the next use. We wouldn’t travel without it!

The awning is a great addition to the skycamper. I love that I have a way to keep out of the weather (sun, snow, rain, etc.) when I don't have a choice where I park. The canopy allows me to extend my campsite for my friends and family. The canopy features only a fabric roof, which means that air will flow through with even more ease, as will people. The space underneath this canopy top can be used for cooking, eating, or simple entertaining.
The canopy is easy to assemble/install. The material is well made; bright retractable poles and fluorescent ropes are a welcome feature - nobody likes tripping over the ropes you can't see. The entire canopy fits neatly inside a small carrying bag.

This is the best accessory I purchased! I was originally thinking between an annex room and an awning. I made the right decision buying the awning instead especially for a tropical country like Philippines. It is easy to install and has a very wide coverage! I ❤️ It!

The awning is a highly recommended accessory. It allows for adding a lot of additional covered space under the tent to protect from sun and rain. The quality is apparent in the materials and attention to detail. The poles are telescoping and allows the awning to be level on unlevel ground and ample room for tall folks. Of course it all fits into a small bag that is easy to transport.

WELL DONE! This is a very easy setup awning and we just love it. Very spacious and waterproof. I recommend this 100% for those who goes out camping a lot. You never know what to expect for weather, it covers you for both sun and rain :)!

The awning is my favorite accessory! It zips on and sets up in just a few minutes (1 zipper, 4 poles, 6 guylines) and it's HUGE! While the annex room makes for an impressive and useful addition for longer stays, the awning is quick, easy and very effective for shorter campouts.
The quality is 1st class, just like the Skycamp and it folds up quite nicely and easily to be stored in its included tote bag along with the poles and lines!
Speaking of the poles and lines, if you've ever bought a tent before - of any kind, you're in for a treat. They are NOT normal - moreso the Cadillac version. I know it sounds silly to get excited over tent poles, but trust me - they're something to get excited over! Well done (again) iKamper!

The quality of the awning is very good. The fabric is strong and waterproof. It has help up well in mild wind. I LOVE that you can get in and out of the tent under cover. This is a huge improvement over most awning/RTT setups since your awning is typically attached to your roof rack, below your rooftop tent making the two incompatible. However, what I don't love are all the poles and guy wires. They take too long to setup (for my taste) and I end up tripping over the wires. If they could find a way to incorporate a poleless foxwing style awning that would be amazing althought its probably not practical. I plan to add a foxwing style on one side of my setup (for shade), and keep the skycamp awning off most the time unless the weather report calls for rain. Overall a great product though and really great addition to the skycamp. I was on the fence originally, and I'm glad a sprung the extra money for the awning.

If you are going to buy the skycamp, this is a must have accessory. The awning not only gives you a place to hang out if it is raining, or a place to sit in the shade, but it also provides a dry ladder when get in and out of the tent. The materials it is made of is top quality and should last for years to come.
Make sure to bring an extra chair as someone will want to join you while you hang out in your "base camp" away from the elements! :)

Rain storm was coming in Yellowstone. Didn't think we had much time til getting wet. Setup was quick and we had ample space for all 3 of us to eat, cook and visit. If you get a SkyCamp then the awning is a must. Zips in fast and nice quality poles that adjust to many heights. Fabric is heavy duty. A little difficult to fold back up but I attribute it akin to a fitted sheet (folds not so smooth but functions great). Even so, there is plenty of room in the carrying case. Have I mentioned how excited I am about the SkyCamp and future camping trips!

I was so excited when we received our ikamper, but the first time we got to take it out and set up the awning for some shade was the best thing ever!! It is soooo much bigger than I anticipated but incredibly easy to set up!
