Ok but don't fit all bars

These worked fine with our previous vehicle, however they only fit a max cross bar diameter of about 1" maybe 1 1/4" (they don't actually say). Our new bars are 1 1/2" so I need to find a new mounting solution. Worse yet, the piece that goes in the tent channel is not removeable without destroying the mount so I will need to make that piece as they do not offer it for sale without buying an entire mount, and if I'm going to buy an entire mount I would definitely go with one of the superior aftermarket options.

These mounting brackets suck. Spent 2 hours on my daughter’s tent trying to mate rod with screw. Not only is it extremely difficult it you could actually see it, they try to make it harder by hiding it.

I bought these after I contacted iKamper via email to make sure they would work with my new setup. I have the Yakima overhaul he adjustable bed rack and was told these would work with the HD load bars that are standard with the rack. Upon trying to install they were about 1/4” off from aligning the mounts do not come down/load bars are thicker to were they won’t allow the Allen to properly thread in. I have a trip on 5 days so I will have to fab or come up with another solution.

Really disappointing when I reach to verify before spending 90+ shipping and now have to figure out a solution to mount my iKamper xcover.
